It's disheartening to me that I should have to
defend America and it's history (warts and all),
from the ignorant and self-serving agendas of
those that would white-wash and re-write our
history in order to make it conform to how they
"think" it "should have
been," rather than how it actually
happened.
Before I had discovered the identity of the
author to this "True Americans"
article, I had written a comprehensive
point-by-point rebuttal to it, which can be
found published on the internet at the Secular

It's a sad state of affairs, indeed, when such
hate-filled rhetoric, bigotry and ignorance as
Mr. Loudermilk's "True American"
article displays, is grasped upon so freely and
uncritically by the public!
The article is a slap in the face to our
Constitution and what makes America
"America"! I can only presume that
those that have praised it must have fell victim
to the emotional rhetoric Mr. Loudermilk used to
help his cause, because the "message"
itself was one of incredible intolerance,
subjugation, discrimination and segregation!
This man shamelessly uses the emotional trauma
of September 11th as a springboard to promote
his thinly veiled "Christian nation"
agenda, and then drapes it in our flag while
adorning it in words like "patriotism"
and "freedom."

their loved one, or friends due to the September
11 attacks. What happened was not right and i
believe that it must be stopped! But i
want to know why we have to send more people to
what is likely their untimely deaths when the
matter could be solved other ways. My friend
almost lost her mother because of this stupid
'war'. I am grateful to be alive for i was meant
to be on one of the planes that crashed in to
the WTC. Tell people you love them every
opportunity you get because it may be the last
you see them. Never let the sun set on your
anger. Talk out your problems. God made this
happen for a reason i believe that. I would just
like to beseech of God, why now, why to all
these people. Many of them had happy caring
lives, with partners and children. Why kill them
for some stupid 'war'? Again my sympathies for
all affected with the attack.
