almost four years since I first had to visit New
York City. My daughter Catherine Patricia
Salter was starting a new part of her career with
Aon. She had been promoted from the office
in Cincinnati Ohio. She was so excited - so
looking forward to new plans, new faces - new
everything. Sadly - I got to visit her
apartment to pack up her belongings to take back
to Ohio. But - I can see why she loved
NYC. I can almost imagine seeing her walk
the streets and enjoy being alive there. My
entire family life has been changed by that
day. I may be past the
bitterness of strangers taking her life but I will
never be over knowing that they must be
stopped. We must never forget 9-11-01 - if
for no other reason than to make sure that it
never happens again.
I miss Cathy so
much - I look at her picture and I talk to her and
I believe that she knows how I feel.
May the circle be unbroken.

first time I found out about the atrocities in
USA was when I came home to find my sister
sitting on the sofa, almost crying. She said
that one of the WTC had been hit by an aeroplane.
Slowly after, as we sat watching the news, the
second plane hit, then a short while after, both
the towers collapsed. My sister and I were in a
state of shock. Even though we do not have close
ties to anybody in the US, we were still deeply
saddened and shocked by what had happened. These
shocking events have taught me NEVER to take
life for granted, one day you could be here, the
next you could be gone. ALWAYS tell your family
that you love them, whenever you get the chance.
And NEVER EVER think that this cannot happen to
you or your country. IT COULD. I wish to express
my deepest and sincerest sympathies to all the
families of the victim of 9/11, and to say that
even if they were not firefighters or anything,
to me, THEY ALL DIED AS HEROES. God Bless.

fell in love with it in 1996. My family
and I went up the Empire State building and my
father and I wanted to visit the Towers but my
mum and sister are afraid of heights. So
we didn't. So I never had the
chance. I was working when the news came
in. Customters came in and said something
had happened. In the end I rang mum to
find out, just as the second plane came
in. How could they? I visited again
in 2003 and went to the underground station on
the day it reopened ( I didn't know this).
I will not forget the site and all the
names.
Please God never let anything like this happen
again.

Operations Warrior Foundation in helping them to
raise funds to further the education of the
children of fallen personnel.
We will be working with other organizations that
offer support to these children, including all
military, fire service and law enforcement.
We will also include memorials for 911 also.

In the aftermath of the attacks Doug & Pam
Champagne wrote and recorded a song "The
Legacy" as a memorial to all who perished
on that horrific day. The song’s sole purpose
is to touch the hearts of as many people as
possible and have them stop and remember all
those that lost there lives.
The decision was made from the beginning that
"The Legacy" would not be used for
monitery gain by any individual , therefore
"The Legacy" is only available via the
internet as a free download.
We do not, nor will we allow, advertisement’s
on the web page. Emails have been received from
around the world including The White House/The
New York City Mayors Office/ The Ambassador to
Canada as well as firefighters and family
members who lost loved ones in the attacks.
Most recently "The Legacy" has been
chosen as the official memorial song of the
world trade center in New York City, and we will
be performing the song live on board the USS
aircraft carrier Intrepid on September 18, 2004
for a memorial event for Search and Rescue (SAR).
As of this date just over 461,000 people have
visited our web page and listened to or
downloaded "The Legacy". We
recently received emails from The World Trade
Center Memorial and Firehouse.com linking our
page to theirs this is truly an honor. We have
performed "The Legacy" at numerous
memorial and charity events and continue to do
so when requested.

wanted to say thank you to all the troops who
have helped with 9/11 and the surrounding events
that have happened to our country in the last 4
years! My father was an army ranger for 7 years
and I have come to be very respectful to the ppl
who have served our country no matter what the
color, religion, or culture. So thanks
again!

to Say thank you For making this sight i really
love it i come here everyday to listen to the
songs i have almost everyone downloaded And i
don't even like some of the singers but i still
like the songs i don't know how many times
the Song Heaven 9/11 remix has brought me to
tears its so sad that that little girl lost her
father in the awful attacks that took place that
song brought my dad to tears and I had never
seen him cry befor | |
